This senior portrait session in Boston was special to me on a few different levels. You see, Will is my younger cousin and I was a teenager when he was born, so it’s really weird that he is about to graduate from high school! Back when I had just gotten my first camera and began calling myself a photographer my aunt had hired me to take photos of Will for their annual Christmas card, for many years. It was always great looking through those photos year after year, not only showing how Will grew as a child, but they were great for showing my growth as a photographer. Once he outgrew holiday card modelling we had stopped, but we all knew that for Will’s senior photos we needed to get back into Boston and make some epic portraits.

I'll let the photos do the talking. Set in the enchanting ambiance of Southwick's Zoo, this October wedding exuded a fairytale charm, particularly within the magical Deer Forest. While the entire day was magical, exploring the Deer Forest with the bride and groom was a highlight of the year, for sure! Capturing Mary and Josh's enchanting wedding was an absolute joy, and I eagerly anticipate returning to Southwick's Zoo for future wedding or engagement sessions.
John's Wish of a Lifetime | USS Constitution Tour | Boston Photography
My latest adventure partnered me up with AARP’s “Wish of a Lifetime” to document an unbelievable tour of the legendary USS Constitution for John, a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam War Veteran, and I jumped at the opportunity. I showed up to the Naval Shipyard just after sunrise with the workers, sailors, joggers, and commuters.

There's an enchanting quality to a portrait session during golden hour. The setting sun bathes everything in a warm, soft, ethereal glow, making it the ideal time for natural light portraits. When my younger cousin, Angelina, asked me to be her senior portrait photographer for her, I couldn't help but reflect on how time had flown by. It felt like just yesterday she was crawling around at Grandma and Papa's, while I eagerly awaited the end of high school.

Their wedding weekend, at the end of October, was the perfect weekend for fall foliage in Derry, New Hampshire. The radiant colors surrounded LaBelle Winery, creating the perfect backdrop for their romantic wedding.
First Snow of 2024
It was the first snowstorm of the year, making it the perfect day to take my camera downtown for some street photography. There's nothing quite like capturing the essence of a blizzard through the lens! Armed with my Nikon Z6 and my trusty 85mm lens, I set out with a simple goal – to document the storm in downtown Manchester. A short stroll up and down Elm Street was all I needed to create some captivating photos of the first snowstorm of the new year.
Sheridan & Shail’s Romantic Engagement Session in the Heart of Boston
Boston is gorgeous city, full of rich history and iconic architecture. It’s also an incredibly romantic city full of happy couples taking advantage of all Boston has to offer, from dinner in the North End to museum hopping. When Sheridan and Shail had expressed interest in doing their engagement photos at the Boston Public Library, I couldn’t wait to begin working with them because I have been longing to revisit the library for another photoshoot. Our session in the library ended before it really got started, unfortunately, but as an experienced photographer I had multiple options to quickly provide my couple with as strong alternatives. Sheridan and Shail’s engagement session took us from the beautiful Boston Public Library to the bustling Newbury Street and ended at the always incredible Boston Public Gardens. Alexis & AJ’s Wedding at Bear Brook State Park
The 2023 wedding season proved to be quite a wet affair, especially during the summer months. At one point, I started to wonder if I was a rain magnet, bringing showers to every wedding I photographed. By mid-season, I had abandoned checking the weather altogether; the stress just wasn't worth it. Yet, rain or shine, I've always found a silver lining in the form of stunning photos amidst downpours. Luckily for Alexis and AJ, they broke my rainy streak, becoming my first wedding of the year untouched by rain. Their mid-October celebration at Bear Brook State Park was nothing short of incredible.

As the temperature began to cool and the leaves began changing colors, my busy season as a wedding photographer started with Bianca and Dan’s enchanting wedding at the awe-inspiring Tarbin Gardens. The bride had initially described their wedding as a wonderful blend of witchy and nerdy, which is a theme that was able to connect with immediately and only made me more excited for their special day.
